Our Services

Our aim is to leave you in a calm and chaos-free environment that works for you. We provide services which are efficient, respectful, and confidential at all times - in a kind and non-judgemental way.

  • Get in touch to arrange a consultation, talk through your project or what you need a hand with, and see how we can best help you. A 30 minute phone or virtual consultation is free of charge, and an on-site visit is charged at £30 per hour.

  • We're experts at decluttering your physical space, this sometimes means letting go of things you no longer want or need... ultimately creating flow and calm. Usually some level of declutter is needed before efficient organising can be done, and ranging from very little to vast quantities of items. All taking up valuable space whilst often no longer needed or wanted. We will discuss with you where your decluttered items can go to, and agree on a plan with you - which includes any considerations/destinations that are important to you.

  • When organising, our aim is to arrange your home in the best way for your needs and lifestyle, making it efficient, functional, and as easy to run as possible. We can create a master plan for your home, so that everything has a place and can be put back easily and quickly - tidying and maintaining a functional home is then much more achievable.

  • We can help you with styling ideas for getting the look and feel that you want for your home, often with very simple touches, but also through to more major changes. Such as adding a couple of cushions in a new colour, to creating a whole new scheme for a room.

  • When preparing your property for sale we can get it looking its best so that it is shown in the best possible way and usually making use of the things you already have in the home. Staging your home so that potential buyers can easily imagine themselves in the space promotes a quicker sale and for the highest price. We can get it ready for your promotional photos, and create a visual record of how to speedily present each room for a viewing.

  • Together we will review the clothes, shoes and accessories that you have, and sort out the items you no longer want to keep. The aim is to keep the items that you really like, and feel and look good in. With more space in your wardrobe it will be easier to choose and find what to wear on a daily basis because you will be able to see your clothes more clearly. We can help you complete an outfit by identifying what might be missing, and help plan a capsule wardrobe if you would like to create a more cohesive, easy to use collection.

  • We can work with you from the time that you are getting your home ready to put on the market - decluttering, organising, staging, and packing, through to settling you in to your new home.

We set up the basics at your destination for your immediate needs, such as preparing your beds for the first night, and getting essentials ready for the next morning. We can then unpack and organise your belongings in your new home - setting up the kitchen, and organising your clothes in the wardrobes. Helping you quickly settle in to a well functioning space.

  • If you are happy working on your own, but would benefit from the support that we can give remotely, virtual sessions may work for you. These can be via Facetime/ WhatsApp video/ Zoom or just by phone (with the help of photos) if that is better for you. The more we can see of your room or the area in question, the better we can make a plan of action with you, see how you are getting on, and offer ongoing encouragement and guidance.

  • Getting your domestic paperwork in order, creating a system so you can keep on top of it and remain up to date with what needs to be done.

Booking appointments, reservations, event tickets, travel arrangements.

Testimonials

  • Sarah came to see us following a recommendation from our daughter. We are an active elderly couple planning to move to a smaller home within the next couple of years. We needed help with sorting through our things, and identifying what we didn’t need any more. We wanted to more efficiently organise and store the items we use on a daily basis, and in general gradually prepare for moving. Spending five days with us enabled Sarah to work through the project with us at our own pace. It was so much easier having her to guide us objectively – the thought of doing this on our own was really overwhelming, and we wouldn’t have even started. Sarah was lovely to have around, and so full of good ideas. We had quite a lot of things to get rid of, from books and clothes, to kitchen utensils, and she arranged for someone to come and collect it all and take it away. We will work with Sarah again on the next stages – we are going to ask her to come and get the house ready to put on the market for sale, and then to settle us into our new home.

  • I am proud of my home - my four children have grown up in it and as they have grown, so has the clutter! This is normal for most family homes but when it comes to the time to sell up and downsize, de cluttering 14 years of stuff is a daunting task. I didn’t know where to start but needed to do it to get the best possible valuation. I knew that there are companies that specialise in helping with staging homes but feared that someone coming in to my mess would quite possibly be a) horrified and b) judgemental! I battled on but soon realised that I wasn’t getting very far. Everything had sentimental meaning. I called Sarah from iorganisehomes. Sarah came to the house and broke down all the rooms into more manageable jobs. Sarah didn’t seem horrified and was not at all judgemental. With a large family herself, and having moved them to live abroad and back again, she was not daunted in the least and we set to work immediately. Sarah took before photos which made me feel positive about the fact that there would be an after! Parting with some of the children’s toys/clothes etc was made easier by realising that most had been in the loft for over 10 years! The local charity shops could benefit much more. Sarah spent 5 days with us, and before she left she prepared a checklist to work through and gave advice on staging each room. A realistic time frame was set and Estate Agents were booked to come and value. Having that deadline kept up the momentum. On the day of valuation, I had a ‘Facetime’ consultation with Sarah to make absolutely sure that each room was looking great. I felt a great sense of pride and achievement at how every room looked, and could finally take the ‘after’ photos! The whole process was not as tough as I had thought it would be, and the whole family got involved. Sarah’s organising and practical advice was invaluable, and she got us the value we wanted on the house!! Thank you Sarah, we really could not have done it without you!

  • My property had been on the market for almost a year, and I’d had several viewings but no offers - I knew I had to do something more to get my sale. Sarah came over and suggested what we could do to make the house more appealing to buyers. She made a list of improvements to work through, some together and some on my own. We started by decluttering room by room, beginning with my bedroom (and wardrobes) as it was the area bothering me the most. I felt really nervous about this task, but with Sarah’s encouragement and calm, non-judgemental manner, I was soon at ease. In fact I felt a massive sense of relief when we had completed the room - it was now a tranquil and chaos-free haven where I could relax and sleep soundly. We had the house repainted in several rooms and removed personalised items. Sarah advised some changes to the second bedroom, which was painted and a new bed and fresh linens added, making the room a really attractive additional feature. Soon after completing this room I received and accepted an offer very close to my asking price! Sarah was lovely to work with as she really listens to what you need, and then comes up with great solutions. We’re going to continue working together throughout my moving process on the many things I still need to get done - including decluttering my garages, and reorganising and moving my office.

  • I had my first de-cluttering day with Sarah recently and I cannot recommend her highly enough to others. It was an excellent experience, though I was nervous to start with. She did a fabulous first job for me and we are now planning our next date. She is so lovely to work with and very, very helpful and understanding.

  • Sarah came to help me when some major changes had happened in my life - my long term relationship suddenly ended, and my mother died after a long and painful illness. My children are grown up and living their independent lives. It was a difficult time and I felt lost, and I thought I needed to move and to have a complete change. I asked Sarah to come and get me and my home ready for sale and moving on. I had always thought I had a flair for home interiors but I didn’t know where to start. Emotionally I felt drained. Sarah was amazing. She put things in perspective. Everything was worked on in bite size chunks. It just seemed much more manageable. Most importantly, I didn’t feel I was doing it on my own. Slowly my house was transformed. I loved it! Everyone loved it! We decluttered and reorganised the whole house. It was redecorated and staged to put on the market. As the house was being transformed I began to rebuild my life and rather than move for now, I’ve decided to stay here. In reclaiming my home, I’ve gained a sense of belonging, along with a new start. I will move one day, but for now I love and am enjoying my wonderful surroundings. I still ask Sarah for ideas, and simply could not have done this without her. She demonstrates great empathy and patience, is genuine and trustworthy, and has an incredible talent. Thank goodness I found her!
